We also had to do a LinkedIn profile which I already had and here is the link for it: <span style="color: #333333; font-family: inherit; font-size: 11px; font-style: inherit;"><a href="https://fi.linkedin.com/in/miraniemi" target="_blank">https://fi.linkedin.com/in/miraniemi </a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I always try to update my LinkedIn profile and keep it accurate. </div>

I wrote based on a three questions and I have my own opinions to these subjects so it just my own thoughts reflecting.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>1) <u>Do you see digitality impacting worklife?</u></b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
I definitely see digitality impacting worklife! For the first reason in my opinion the world is changing because technology and digitality the same as worklife. With digitality there comes social networking, new phenomenon's like PokemonGo, new devices and programs. Nowadays no matter what you do for work, it is almost impossible to avoid any digital device or a screen. Watch this video of desktop and you realize - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpJamFkeVus" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpJamFkeVus</a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Looking at social networking and social media overall there are a lot of changing factors, for example marketing and selling happens through Internet and social media. Like it is said in this article <a href="http://futureofworking.com/10-advantages-and-disadvantages-of-social-networking/" target="_blank">"10 advantages and disadvantages of social networking"</a> point three, companies use social networking to promote and that way they can reach large amount of people. They can market there surprisingly efficiently. For this reason marketers and sellers warlike is definitely changing. As a marketer, is there any open job advert which not include "It's a plus that you can handle social media". And for thinking of the future, there is always going to be new devices and mobile phones developed over the years and all the time you have to have more of something. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Unless I think that digitality and social media are so great, there is a big minus that everybody knows but most of us just ignores it - addiction. In work life this could be bad thing also: you might forget to be polite to your customer while watching your mobile phone screen, maybe you forget how to act face to face or working people in companies just watching their mobile phone and not doing any work. And what I have seen people can be so mean on the Internet, cyberbullying. I mean that the people you say bad about might be your next day customer and unless you might don't remember, the victim usually does. For my opinion is just don't say anything that you wouldn't say face to face. In the article I mentioned upper was a also good video about this subject! It's Prince Ea's and I have discovers his videos little while ago and the videos are really good and motivational. </div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/dRl8EIhrQjQ/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dRl8EIhrQjQ?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In this course's material there were a good advice from Jussi Rautjärvi, how to lead digital business. First he said that you have to define your starting point in other words where are your company in digital world. He's second point was to make things possible in your organization and with your people. For the last point he said that you have to create culture of measuring and testing all the time. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>2) <u>What kind of opportunities Sani Leino describes about Augemented Realiy and PokemonGo?</u> <a href="https://medium.com/@SaniLeino/the-pok%C3%A9mon-effect-the-numbers-and-effects-behind-the-massively-popular-mobile-game-7d0e05a298c9#.8jqj2vqd4" target="_blank">(Link to the article)</a></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Leino's article claims for Pokemon Go to be biggest mobile game ever and I think so too. It has rapidly gave opportunities to businesses among. Can you actually believe that people are spending more time on Pokemon Go than on Facebook or snapchat! And the game was just launched at summer. But back to the opportunities of the game - I have listed the best opportunities that Leino wrote and my opinion, below.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>First</b> maybe the best known opportunities for business is that for example bars and restaurants are gaining 30-500% increase because of Pokemon catchers are "luring" in the shops and catching pokemons. What I have heard that it just might be coincidence for these "lures"to be at some cafe, but after the game was launched companies have possibility to buy themselves to be Pokegyms. What I think it is a good way to attract customers. For my opinion Pokemon Go is excellent opportunity for small cafes and restaurants to gain profit and popularity which they might not have. I think that it is important to keep these small businesses alive and Pokemon Go helps that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Second</b> thing is the augmented reality (AR) that are kind of competing with virtual reality (VR). Year ago we thought that virtual reality is going to be a big thing. But think about walking around with those VR classes on and playing Pokemon. For my opinion dangerous and I would be a little bit shamed to walk at the streets like that... So it looks like augmented reality is going to be the next big thing. I think that and also might bet on that there will be games like Pokemon Go more - or at lear it would be so cool. For example I was talking with my friend with the subject and came across and idea that think how cool it would be to play Harry Potter that way! Just a wild idea, but for real people are going to bored with Pokemon Go at some point.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Third</b> thing is to reflect the second one when there is more games like this that would be go-to place for brands and marketers. In Sani Leinos text he mentioned only that Pokemon Go would like that go-to place but I think that there would be more games like that so why not market on them too. Think about that you are playing some AR game like Pokemon Go and there would be maybe sponsored locations. In that way some company's brand would be awareness of hundreds gamers on whose across that place. There are plenty of possibilities to advertise through those games and maybe there is ways that nobody has figured out yet but will be in the near future. There is also a possibility to advertise through the topic related goods, like phone cases that has a pokemon ball throw line. So why not to market through these. Unless these are themselves a good business idea, but likely not to last so long. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Fourth</b> and one of the important thing of Pokemon Go is that it makes people move more. Lack of exercise is a problem in the world among youngster and even kids. This is a good tool to get them moving in a fun way that they don't even realize it as an exercise. Exercising should be like that for my opinion and many fitness apps should take a notice what the Pokemon Go app is doing. I think that there could be many possibilities for apps to move people more but not necessarily name them like "fitness app" because the name might make people to hate it! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Fifth</b> and the last of the things that Leino mentioned that I find important is that people are connecting and creating communities. Did you know that in San Francisco, US, there where over 9.000 people gathering among Pokemon players. What a chance to local companies to make money, cafes, restaurants, hotels and shops. And maybe it's a long shot, but it is great way to network and meet new people and some day you'll hired by the man that you met on a Pokemon Go meet. And there is already invented thing like PokeDates, which Leino mentioned. Really? Well, might be a good way to meet new people. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
But all in all I think that this is all AR and Pokemon Go is a good thing for us when we jus remember to be careful and keep our eyes open!</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CnOe4g7WYAAsF7i.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="296" src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CnOe4g7WYAAsF7i.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Please be aware what is happening around you!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>3) <u>What does professor Quesenberry mean by four-step social media framework in her Harvard review article</u> <a href="https://hbr.org/2016/07/fix-your-social-media-strategy-by-taking-it-back-to-basics" target="_blank">"Fix your social media strategy by taking it back to basics"</a>?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I agree with Quesenberry's article that there is no on fit social media strategy for all businesses. Every businesses need to find their own space in social media and what works just for them. This four-step framework that Quesenberry mentioned is a good starting point for every business and for my opinion to update social media. This article is so good for our project I'm working on with Camilla, Social media strategy for B2B company. We have been thinking that would it just be so easy if there is complete platform to use. But yes I realized that one that fits something else, doesn't fit on someone else.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>First</b> step is to define you status. One of the things what it means is that you need to identify your target market, next your industry. Take notice the resent performance of your brand and find out what is current traditional marketing promotion for the product or service. For my opinion of course you can use the traditional way or a better option find a different way that no one have used yet. at this point it is good to just know the traditional way. Next you have to define your competitors. This what we did with Camilla, we created a competitor analysis that it would be easier to realized what is happening in the industry. Also what Quesenberry mentioned at this point, some companies might need a new image to their brand, because it might be old and doesn't fit for social media. There is a lot to think about when planning social media. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Second</b> step in the article was "Listen to your target audience". Basically it means that you need to find out what channels works for you. Which channels are your audience and what they do there. Also google where are your company mentioned in the Internet. That way you can find the channels where you want to listen and communicate. I think it is pretty important that companies are communicating in social media and not just keeping it up and posting once a week. So for my opinion you need to choose channels that you are able to track on. Don't take too much at once. But last step of this phase was that you also need to identify larger trends in social media use. Of course you need to know what are people doing there and you can attract their attention in social media. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Third</b> step of the framework is to create social media content that drives engagement. Based on the second step you need to know the channels you need and are able to maintain, you need to know you can post on these channels and what are the trends. Quesenberry claims good social media content to be fresh, relevant, short and current updates and maybe videos, depends on the channel. So you need to optimize the content to each channels. I agree with Quesenberry on this and for the addition don't be afraid to try something new, just keep it mind what your consumers want to read, share, watch or listen. Keep the customer in the center always! Don't just post something because you like it. In this article mentioned you can use monitoring services like hoot suite and HubSpot to help you monitoring your social media. I think there is a lot of good tools out there so just use them, they will help you a lot. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Fourth</b> step is to "link marketing goals to social media KPI's". Key Performance Indicators could be social media likes and shares or even website visit from social media content. There are more options if you use Google analytics social reports. Like I said earlier don't be afraid to use tools that could help you significantly. Before I haven't even realize how important it is to use all the analytic systems. But think about it if you don't keep track on these thing, you are more likely to fall of the rapidly changing social media trends. </div>

I'm back in business! This time I attended to this course: Marketing in a digital world. It's my favourite subject of marketing so I'm kind of excited for it. The next video gives something to imagine why marketing in digital world is important and why to attend to this course:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jottDMuLesU/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jottDMuLesU?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have had many courses regarding to this subject, because after all it is one of my favourite subject. And still I think I have so much to learn. My main goal for this course is to dig deeper for this subject and find things that are new to me. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the background information: I chose this course because of this one project I'm working on with my friend Camilla. We are doing a social media strategy to B2B company that has no social media background at all. That is kind of challenging but on the other hand we can use our imagination and be creative. So I hope I'll be learning about social media strategy in B2B business and that is something I'm going to focus on this course. Marketing in B2B business is also new to me so I have a lot to learn.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have few other goals for this course. I want to learn more about actual digital marketing, like what are good pictures in digital marketing and what are the current trends in digital marketing. I also want to learn about the programs, softwares and websites that I can find use to help me with digital marketing. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have a good vibe for this course and I think I'm going to reach my goals. This course seems interesting and there is a lot of useful information what I have seen this far! My first thought about this course was excited and the feeling still continues and the feeling interested became along. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Wait for the posts upcoming! ;) </div>

This week has been fun and I have had kind a mixed feelings about it. I feel like it is sad that it is the end and we have had so much fun but on the other hand I am really happy that it is holiday and I can finally rest since I have really given my all to this autumn and I'm really exhausted.<br />
<br />
We had a big ceremony on Thursday at our school and we all presented our final presentations. On Monday we did present also the presentation to teachers and did assignment on our Future (what we are going to be in year 2020 and how see the digital course at it's best). We added few things to our final presentation on Tuesday which is video. Surprise. The video is amazing, really I love it so much. The is our journey during the course and we have filmed it all the way during this course and it really shows how fun we have had. We have been trying to be really creative during this autumn and we really did it! I'm so proud of the final video and I'm so proud of my team.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/0qFj5BrK6KU/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0qFj5BrK6KU?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I really have to say that I have learned most about video editing and social media during this course. I remember that first things I did, I created my Twitter, improved my LinkedIn and I have used much more social media than before. I really have learned the importance of social media nowadays and it is really big marketing advantage to a company. When we also started to do our first video of this course, I had used iMovie once or twice and I never uploaded the videos to YouTube or else. I really have learned a lot about editing and also filming videos. And I have realized that it is so much fun doing these videos and this is not the last video I/we are going to do. I'm going to continue it for the rest of my life, it is so much fun.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
We also did a little short film for this course and we wanted to be really epic and dramatic. That is how it effect to people and stays in their mind and attracts their attention. So we founded the perfect music and used the best part of this course which we had filmed and did really epic ending. We actually filmed the ending on Monday with teachers and I love. The ending was just like we wanted to be. Originally we were supposed to do 15 sec video but it turned out 30sec. I learned from that it is really hard to do so short video and still make it like it tells something. But I'm really proud of the final solution and happy for it because the video was just perfect. So here it is for the next:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_-cvSHFbcSk/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_-cvSHFbcSk?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On Monday and Tuesday we also did a little video for our partner company Emotions Tracker and you can see parts of it from the final presentation video. The video was for company's marketing and we did it in really short amount of time and it really was good. So I guess we are also good under pressure. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
For all the learning I have learned so much and for examples I can say social media skills, video editing, SEO (search engine optimization), law issues (and creative commons), digital marketing strategy, blogging and so much about videos. We also had so inspiring lecturers during this course and will never forget Jaakko Alasaarela's and Camilla Tuominen's lectures, they were so inspiring and I will keep the learning in my mind forever. <br />

This week we had a two lectures on Monday, team working on Tuesday and Wednesday and also an exam on Thursday. First lecturer on Monday was Mika Aittamäki from Rainmaker. He spoke about selling. He told how digitalization reflects to sales and businesses. He told that the power is in the consumer hands and stand alone stores has to define themselves again. But the difference between online shop and stand alone shop are that there is a different customer service and the seller should organize proper customer service also on online.He told about example of customer servicer Irma that has worked in customer service in "real life" and that doesn't mean tat she is as good customer servicer in online as she is in stand alone store. </div>

Our teacher Ilkka gave the next lecture about Digital Humanism. And we had an exam question about that too. The subject is how the modern marketing can equate the Aristotele's theory. That there is three main point to think in modern marketing: rational appeal, emotional appeal and ethical appeal. mind, heart and spirit. I have to say it took me a lot of time to get the the whole subject since embarrassing to say I don't know Aristotele's theory. </div>

On the rest of the week our team has work on our final videos which has taken a lot of time. We also had an idea for emotion tracker and we have had to think about that too. I don't wan to talk about our videos because it's going to be surprise and they are not even ready yet. We have like the videos structure all figured out, but we are going to add couple of things to them. It's going to be amazing. But continue on next weeks the whole process and finalize our videos. We are going to film some parts for it also and edit them and see if there is anything to fix. I can't wait. Next week we have a lot to do and then it is finished the whole course. Part of me is really happy and part kind a sad that there is no our team meeting anymore. We have had so much fun my team and the teamwork has been really good and I'm really going to miss that. </div>

Most of our team were at student cruise and thats why didn't attend on Monday. So on Wednesday we met with our team at Sello and planned our final video for the final presentation. We don't know exactly yet how we are going to do the video but it will come up with us when we are starting to work it. I'm constantly thinking ideas that we could use and the theme and I have many thoughts about it. I wonder if I should start writing them down so I might use the ideas in my own videos if we don't use them.<br />
<br />
On Thursday we had a lecture by one of our digital couch Arman Nuri about content marketing. I think that is a really big subject for one lecture and it was reduced for few slices and it was good. I have myself learned about content marketing from content marketing course. What I can say about content marketing is that content is king and always remember that content is for people and it is supposed to inform, entertain or educate them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
We also gave a presentation by FTS13 about how to make a video and gave few examples of good advertising videos. Our original presentation would have taken a much longer so we reduced it to few videos. Ilkka agreed to film our presentation and we now have good material for the final video also, us presenting. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvwNv_-U1IM" target="_blank">Go check our educative video about "How to make a video" through this link!</a> This video is made for maybe few months ago so if we had done it know it would have been a lot better. I can say that we have improved a lot in video making. What I can say that when I'm editing these videos with my team it is a lot easier now when I know where to find how to do that and so on. We have really good team and the teamwork helps to reach good results.<br />

This week on Monday we had two so inspiring lecture. The other one was by Jaakko Alasaarela (<a href="https://zef.fi/fi/etusivu/" target="_blank">ZEF Solutions Oy</a>). First he told us about him and his life. He was so talented with speaking so I admire that so much. For me the most important learning were that write down your dream: What is your dream? And what is your personal reason? You also should dream big and it helps you to concrete your dream when it is written down. Also when you have a personal reason, you will never give up. He told that also a company should have solid dream and in in his company they have three main value: Love, passion and courage. treat people with love, do things with your best and think that you are able to do it all. Absolutely amazing lecture and such an inspiring stories! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We also had Camilla Tuominen from <a href="http://emotiontracker.fi/en/" target="_blank">Emotion Tracker</a>. She was also such an inspire. She told us about feeling and handling them - mastering emotions. And the main thing was why, how and what about feeling, why to feel them and how. So you should recognize your feelings that you can live life the fullest. I also think that in nowadays emotions intelligence is more and more important. Like Camilla said that in the future automatic things do the work that we do now and when that happens there is still jobs, just different. Then our job is to do what machines can't and that is understanding humans for example. You should also recognize what are that you feeling and maybe it is easier when you write them down. When you are aware of your feeling they might not be that bad at all. And how? Just let them feelings come and go and handle them. Write them down and be aware of them and when next time comes, you can change your way to think about them. I personally loved Camilla's speech, it was so inspiring.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The team work at this week have been really awesome.We got a task to read theses and first we thought that we are just going to write our thoughts to a word document. But then we thought that it is only three weeks eft of this course and let's do this in our way till the end. So we ended up doing a video!! I'm so happy with our decision because videos are our thing. We did the the whole reading circle about the thesis we read on Tuesday already and actually did the video on that day as well. This time it was easier to do after we have some experience now. I had so much fun filming and editing the video with my group and we also learned about thesis as well (Watch the video to find out what we learned!).We had to do some partner company stuff on Wednesday and thats why we tried to do the video as well on Tuesday. To our partner company we thought about a campaign idea with some social media inspiration and actually end up with the really good one. Now we just have to sell the idea to our partner company emotion tracker and keep our fingers crossed that she would be as excited as we are. Video under:</div>

On Thursday we had lectures by our digital couches Jabed and Bui. Jabed talked about the SEO and Bui about Freshdesk solution (<a href="https://freshdesk.com/help-desk-software?_bt=54008395317&_bk=fresh%20desk&_bm=e&_bt=54008395317&_bk=fresh%20desk&_bm=e&gclid=CODznf7TnMkCFWjmwgodRacAtg" target="_blank">Check out Freshdesk</a>) and related to that about live chat. I have to say that SEO is not my special field because I really do not get the SEO process but I honestly try my best to improve that skill. Jabed showed SEO pyramid (picture under) and with that I have better picture about SEO. It was also educational to lear about freshdesk since I never heard about it before. Basically it is a customer support program that help companies to answer to customers' questions in a easy way. </div>

On Monday we started with law issues with lecture by Marjaana Marmo. She talked about what is a binding contract and all the age limits related to that. We talked about a contract when you buy something and your under 18 years old that you can't make too big purchases. Under legal act that under 18 years old's parents can cancel the purchase. I think that parent's should teach their kids about sensible use of money. But that really harsh to think that a parent can cancel the purchase when you have for example earn the money by yourself or got it for a present.<br />
<br />
We also got assignment for the week's task to research some law about social media acts and contracts and return policy. So this week were different to FTS13 since we have used creativity in our tasks and now we had to actually think things in theory and found the correct answer. I think it was a lot of work to actually read law and still use common sense. It really was hard and exhausting. But our team managed to do all the task and we learned a lot during doing them.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEireADkL6D2V_GVAxYtMdwcX6N3L5YSKXapXuhoG0LVZZ4RlGRRtZMdTwnjJlWn88z9QhmDMUtU0Ho9HjMlSk5_gUaHExOHbYoai-O7ojapf9XN-ocjIcV5Tiavwl26MM-VAg8H56RU12A/s1600/DSC_0346.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEireADkL6D2V_GVAxYtMdwcX6N3L5YSKXapXuhoG0LVZZ4RlGRRtZMdTwnjJlWn88z9QhmDMUtU0Ho9HjMlSk5_gUaHExOHbYoai-O7ojapf9XN-ocjIcV5Tiavwl26MM-VAg8H56RU12A/s640/DSC_0346.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">work work work..<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm not going to list all the task we had to do since we had so much to do. But we had to do a powerpoint of Internet shopping and right down a few main point about the law in social media and about viral marketing in general. We also got third task to solve some law issues. There were some explanation and we had to find an answer or more likely to resolve the case. So on these tasks we worked on on Tuesday and on Wednesday. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We also went through some things related to our new partner company Emotion Tracker. I'm going to tell that about later when we know more. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On Thursday we did go through all the tasks and more like discussed them through. And yes it was finally so nice to speak Finish. It was a lot easier to use Finish as the task's language because all the law things is really hard to explain even in Finish so in English it would have been really really hard and maybe there would haven't even been enough time. And when we discussed about the task's I really learned from that when we actually had examples and so on. For me it is easier to learn through examples or with doing so this was good that we actually did that. And did you knew that there isn't any law in Finland that is valid for social media acts. There is only different laws that are applicable for that. When there isn't that exact law it is sometimes hard to tel what is right and what is wrong. But for my opinion people still have moral and know what is right and what is wrong.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope next week we could use our creativity again afters thus week's there learning. So if so FTS13 might do a video again, maybe ;)</div>

<br />
This week has been short for me. I only took part on Thursday of school, when we had lecture by Arto Kuuluvainen talking about sports branding. He works in M3 research A/S. He told a lot of branding in the field of ice hockey. I have to say I am not a number one ice hockey fan but it was still nice to hear about sports branding. The one thing that got stuck in to my mind was the most important income sources for sports. And those are - Media deals, sponsorships, merchandise, ticket sales and new sources (like streaming services and fantasy games). But I am also myself interest in sports branding and all that and I would like to hear or read it more but maybe of different sports.<br />
<br />
And my team made a beautiful video while I was in my holiday. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Ly-bXFYcw" target="_blank">You can watch it through this link!</a><br />
They also did a lot of other work and I got to present it with them. Although I was a little nervous that if I had to explain something and I won't know because I hadn't been in school for whole week. But it went totally fine. And I am so proud of my team FTS13. BTW we have our own YouTube channel now!! <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYR4UqmgXMtAP_CMXKbX4Pg" target="_blank">Check it out here!</a><br />
<br />
When I was on my holiday I also learned there a lot of different thing. Like they usually say that traveling makes you wiser. Related to this course I learned that in the UK their video advertisement are different. For example Lidl's TV-advertisement were totally different compared to that one which is shown in Finland. And I get that you have to notice your audience and that what works in some country won't work in somewhere else. So what about online content of enterprises. Should they do different medias for each country or does the same work for all. For my opinion you should always consider that to use different medias if the company operates in different countries. And I have to say that in my trip to England I also learned some more English and gained self-confidence of speaking English.<br />

P.S. I am sorry that I don't have any pictures for the reason that I was only for one day at school this week and sadly didn't took any pictures.<br />

He is DJ, Music producer, entrepreneur and blogger. Go check his website <a href="http://resoundsound.com/">resoundsound.com</a>. For me he seemed pretty inspirational guy when he spoke his blogging and entrepreneurship. He had four main points that he wanted to share about blogging:<br />
<br />
<b>First</b> <b><i>blogging is a learning tool</i></b>. For him this one was the most important part in blogging. Blogging teaches how to focus and it evokes creativity. It also helps one to discover ideas and gives direction and momentum.<br />
<br />
<b>Second b</b><i style="font-weight: bold;">logging can become a solid business. </i>I learned that there are many ways to make money in blogging, like advertising, selling products and affiliate marketing.<br />
<br />
<b>Third </b><i style="font-weight: bold;">blogging connects you to people and opportunities. </i>For this one if you show people your vulnerability they more likely can relate to you.<br />
<br />
<b>Fourth </b><i style="font-weight: bold;">blogging helps in creating clarity and achieving goals in life. </i>Blogging is flexible and in life it transform with you when you transform.<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i>From Monday's lecture Ilpo Kärkkäinen</i></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Ilpo also told us about google trends which relate to our week task. We got a task to use <a href="https://www.google.fi/trends/" target="_blank">google trends -tool</a> and think three concrete themes for our partner company's blog. So we really had to dig deep and search common trends in the industry. Also we got a chance to give feedback to Ilpo Kärkkäinen of his blog and I hope our points of view can help him.<br />
<br />
By the way, I founded some interesting google analytics YouTube -tutorialvideos and I am definitely going to watch them when I have some more time. Videos are very helpful if you want to learn more about google analytics. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4R5WWWg2Vk" target="_blank">Go check out via this link</a>.<br />
<br />
And on Thursday we are going to have an exam but I can't make it because of I am going to London for a six day trip. I wish all good luck for the exam and I'll be back in business in the end of the next week!<br />

The team task was to use a tool <a href="http://website.grader.com/">website.grader.com</a> to give a grade to our partner company's website and it's competitors. I think it was very useful to use this tool and I really learned to that there are many tools that you can use to grade your website and that way develop it. First we thought that we are going to do a video, like a basic video. But why that because the task was easier to explain with an animation. Making those animation takes a lot of time but and it took. We had a little problem with it that we had to create new user to use free trial to goanime and then we had record the anime video with computer screen. Luckily Tanja was the one to get that done and I think that the video is so good and it explains well the given task.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/HrOAvtjQHTY/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HrOAvtjQHTY?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our video webpage grader.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
We also had many lectures this week. First one was on Monday, actually first two. Terhi Aho from Tulos lectured us about SEO, search engine optimizing. I learned that there are many search engines besides Google and Bing. Search engines are also yahoo, Ask, Yandex, Youtube and Pinterest and also Baidu (used in China). She also told us about Google updates which are split in three different categories: Panda-content, Penguin-links and Hummingbird-Semantics. Google wants to be your personal assistant. I learned that the main things in search engine optimization are content, technics and links. If you want your website to pop up in search engine you can link your website to other websites, like that they are link to each others like networking. She also told about customer journey and content strategy. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">FTS13 in action</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
After Terhi, we had a second lecturer Joanna Purosto from MMAliitto. She had three important things to say: Network yourself, digitalize and that all of this (studying) is just beginning. It was more like an inspirational lecture. But she also gave us a tip to use codecademy.com if we want to learn something about coding. I'm definitely going to check that out when I have time. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On Thursday <a href="https://twitter.com/IlkkaKurkela" target="_blank">Ilkka</a> (our teacher) gave a lecture. It was also an inspirational lecture. He also gave that lecture as a stream what was totally new for all of us. He had 3 main point, actually 4. First was that people who inspire you. We had to write three people of our life that inspire ourself. Mine was my mom and dad and also my boyfriend. These people inspire me the most and they are super important to me. The point was that to succeed, with these people surrounded I can because they give me strength to work hard for my dreams and goals. Second main point was strategy. in marketing and in digital marketing strategy is important and what I wrote down from the lecture that "Always put your website in the center of your digital strategy". Third was that digital presence creates trust and that's true. If some company doesn't have anything in the Internet, the first thing that I think is that it's a scam. And also the material in the Internet should be for my opinion good quality to create more trust. For last was that customer is the king. Always should appreciate the customer. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
After Ilkka's lecture we had lecture by one of the digital coaches Bishnu about lead nurturing. The subject was totally strange to me and still is a little bit but at least now I know what it means. It's a process of building effective relationship with potential customers throughout the buying journey. So pretty intensive week with lectures. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><i>Reviews:</i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
we also got a task for this weeks blog posts. So i have to read 5 blog of my classmates and write some idea or learning that they have wrote and also give feedback of the blogs to my blog post. So here comes the review:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>For first I chose Teemu's blog <a href="https://blahdigiblahblah.wordpress.com/">https://blahdigiblahblah.wordpress.com</a> </b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I like how he has written his own opinions and his own thoughts. I especially like how he writes in a fun way. It is really nice to read his blog. The cultural baggage was also fun and in created in his own way. respect to that. Very thought provoking sentence in Teemu's blog that I like to share was "is this all we are, just some products on the job market". That evoked my thoughts. For some criticism I could say that more pictures and videos would make the blog more interesting and more captivating. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Second blog I chose is Niina's blog <a href="http://niinahavilehto.wix.com/niinahavilehto">http://niinahavilehto.wix.com/niinahavilehto</a></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Her blog is nice and clear. In positive way she has pictures and videos. Only one negative things is that I personally don't like when I had to open blog post separately. I haven't heard anyone else say that but it is just my personal opinion. The one post where she said that "Someone said that people are more creative when they don't have much money to spend. Lack of money should not be never the reason that you can't do anything". That was really wise idea. I haven't thought that way before. And I agree with Niina on that. There is one picture also on the same post that I like to share because it was really thought provoking for me:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgINHYi0FjMQm-wf7KMcpDaICxjotHyD71HjXsog4AjpHcmiQTI7RwP6s2iyECr8RTEqAOyX6Ti_qdcZ7r8s6ynM4SDc_BjOKfLmXJJkvgltoH6S9mFpEQR6ppkMFMSm3EAVZWB8WBvugE/s1600/7d4446_01a2bbfb490e447eb2fd22aa08936439.jpg_srb_p_496_285_75_22_0.50_1.20_0.00_jpg_srb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="182" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgINHYi0FjMQm-wf7KMcpDaICxjotHyD71HjXsog4AjpHcmiQTI7RwP6s2iyECr8RTEqAOyX6Ti_qdcZ7r8s6ynM4SDc_BjOKfLmXJJkvgltoH6S9mFpEQR6ppkMFMSm3EAVZWB8WBvugE/s320/7d4446_01a2bbfb490e447eb2fd22aa08936439.jpg_srb_p_496_285_75_22_0.50_1.20_0.00_jpg_srb.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>For third one I chose Laura's blog <a href="http://digivision-laura.blogspot.fi/">http://digivision-laura.blogspot.fi</a></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the first thing I noticed she has a lot of pictures and I like that for blog. It is much more interesting to read when there are also pictures. I would hope she would write more her thoughts than rather explains the week. It was nice to read in one blog post where her team were doing a video presentation of blogging and they have put a lot of effort to it and how nice it was for her to get positive feedback. For me it is also so nice to get positive feedback after putting a lot of effort to something. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Fourth I chose Johanna's blog <a href="http://digibusinessworld.blogspot.fi/">http://digibusinessworld.blogspot.fi</a></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I like the project in Johanna's team. It is nice that she has shared some picture from their meeting in Aavi technologies that there are something individual. It was nice to read that one lecture was get her to think about life and what she wants for it. Some improvement could that she could share more about the project and what they do or make the blog's appearance more captivating. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>For the last one is Santeri's blog <a href="https://santerisdigitalblog.wordpress.com/" target="_blank">https://santerisdigitalblog.wordpress.com </a></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
He has really good blog for mobile version. I haven't even noticed my mobile appearance. He had really good notes on his blog. It would be nice to read also in his words and more of what they have done in their team. And also picture would make the blog more interesting. But in the plus side the blog is organized well at so nice to read. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Our team has been working long hours and I almost have any free time after school work. Luckily next week is holiday week, although I have many other school tasks that I need to do. But it has still been interesting week.<br />
<br />
On Monday we had a lecture by Faysal Hasan (He is our digital coach also in this course). He does lots of photography, so he told us about photography as a business and what should be take account when building a photography business. You can go check his <a href="http://www.faysalhasan.com/?page_id=1417" target="_blank">website from here</a>!<br />
<br />
We had also a second lecture by Pekka Tuominen from Digipeople Studio. The company is also our partner company in this project and Pekka the CEO, is our contact person. I was so excited to hear since I'm so interested in videos. He told us about video strategy and he had a lot to say. He told that companies should act like news office that they should inform and be transparent, because people respect that. Nowadays people want to see watch really happening and want to see real and true stuff not just the soft touch. The content in videos should be interesting what catch the eye and that way it might spread everywhere. And the content should also really help people/ customers.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsG60_toIhFoCVEFom3-TJytKBXlsMe8v9s2HLJPZBLLaEiR-iE60IT1vvusnphJM3Rli-Z6LipgzOBvQ60U7b0Aff5HoVTnXOL1871b5t4xSbZmPapJBsmgMTX5-ZO5bdJAWHWpqUUxU/s1600/Why+video.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="452" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsG60_toIhFoCVEFom3-TJytKBXlsMe8v9s2HLJPZBLLaEiR-iE60IT1vvusnphJM3Rli-Z6LipgzOBvQ60U7b0Aff5HoVTnXOL1871b5t4xSbZmPapJBsmgMTX5-ZO5bdJAWHWpqUUxU/s640/Why+video.jpeg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Why video? From Pekka's lecture</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Pekka also told how videos should be like or what they think in Digipeople studio. Videos should be consistent when there is many part of the commercial. And Videos must be in YouTube (so they optimized in google) and you should name the videos right. Also the videos style should be equal and most likely in high-quality. What I think was important is that he said that videos shouldn't be too long that people watch them till the end. And dare to throw yourself!! Main points from Pekka's lecture were quality, innovation, release, indexing and tracking. (<a href="http://www.digipeople.fi/fi/etusivu/" target="_blank">check out Digipeople studio!</a>)<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On Monday and Tuesday our team were making the video for the week's task and doing synopsis for Digipeople. Our synopsis took a lot of time because we wanted them to be good. And of course we did a video also, what else we would do..? Making videos is fun but takes a lot of time, so we have been done three days a row 11am till 5-6pm days. And also other school stuff on top of that. But making videos are with it and those are much more fun to present and people actually have energy to watch them. </div>

This year the forum took place at Helsinki, Messukeskus. There were many speakers from top of the business world. I really was excited to hear their words of wisdom.<br />
<br />
I only watched the part where Arianna Huffington spoke and her Q&A part. Arianna is an author and co-founder of <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/" target="_blank">Huffington Post</a> (<-- click).<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.nbforum.com/lataukset/arianna-huffington.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://www.nbforum.com/lataukset/arianna-huffington.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Arianna Huffington</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div>
<br /></div>
Huffington was speaking about the impact of social media and optimism. I agree what she said that more and more people discover things through social media. And I was really interested when she said that in the future 50% of websites is going to be video. I was clad to hear that when I love videos so much. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
She also told how all this constant presence in your mobile device or other device effects your well-being. And in some cases more often leads to burn outs. Especially all the negative news has that effect so people should post more positive things in social media not the negative stuff. And also companies should do the same, more positive so it would make more positive and cheery people. So what Arianna said she does, is she turns off her devices in the evening and don't let them be side by her bed all night like almost all people in the world. This also effects the sleep. But about the positive news people should do that more. And that people like to share inspiring things as well entertaining things are important too for the positive image. </div>
<div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Arianna Huffington and John Maxwell Q&A</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
I also saw the Q&A part of Arianna Huffington and John Maxwell. I have to say that John Maxwell is a really smart man and amazing. They spoke of leadership and how should leaders be like. They said that some leaders can be brilliant but at the same time they could be toxic. Not all brilliant people are good leaders. Leader have to be able to be direct and have positive way of ambition. And also take notice that people consume news differently. And when the leader has to tell those bad news, they should also include good news. So every leader should be fearless and empathetic. What is also important for leaders they should take care of them selves too so that they can take care of others and lead others. And what helps that is people are something also outside of their job, and that is what they should hold by. Clear boundaries and device free bedroom also helps as they said that. Also when nowadays we need to work in teams the leader should know how to lead a team while people in the team should know how to be in the team. And for the last - Failure is a stepping stone to success. </div>

<br /></div>
I have really exciting news from this week. We met the partner company that we are going to work with in this project. The company is Digi People Sudio (<a href="http://www.digipeople.fi/fi/etusivu/" target="_blank">here is link to their web page</a>). They make videos for other companies and what I have seen, the videos have been really great. Their goal is to do videos which have a story and that video some how touches viewers' emotions. They also does other marketing stuff like 3D-animations, infographics, showreel and commercials. They also have so called <a href="http://www.digipeople.fi/fi/iskuryhma/" target="_blank">"iskuryhmä"</a> for situations which need fast production like launch parties. I am so clad that our group got an opportunity to work with this company. The feeling is just amazing.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
We made a video about what is our task to do for the company:</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZtLrGZdmGIs/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZtLrGZdmGIs?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On Monday all of the companies had a little presentation and it was really exciting to here about other teams' companies also. The most I was waiting to here about Digi People Studio of course and we had Pekka Tuominen, the CEO, telling us about the company. But I was also really fascinated about other presentation too like Taigas+Helvetti. I really thought that it was only the books behind that name but in reality there is a whole community behind it. You can find information about it from their website, just <a href="http://taivasjahelvetti.fi/" target="_blank">click here</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On Tuesday we were at school until 6 pm making the video and thinking about companies that would be great customers for Digi People Studio. We send a list to Pekka, the CEO, what were our idea about companies that would be ideal customers that we could plan an advertising video. We had few really good ideas but lets see what is going to happen. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have to also tell that on Wednesday we did a little road trip to Porvoo with Team FTS13 and it was so much fun. The point was to get some inspiration and visit Brunberg factory's store and some petstore called "Peten koiratarvike". We got some fun video and picture material from the trip and we bought a lot of candy also what is enough for the rest of the year. </div>

At school we had a quest lecturer on Thursday, Jyri Rasinmäki. He works at Vapamedia (has worked for 5 years) and he was lecturing us problem solving and thinking. You can find him on <a href="https://twitter.com/rasinmaki" target="_blank">Twitter</a> and <a href="https://instagram.com/rasinmaki/" target="_blank">Instagram</a>. The main things in he said was about problem solving, importance of thinking and asking the (right) questions. It was really psychological lecture. He kept telling that everyone should find their own way to think and keep thinking. Relevant to that he also said that you have to be curious and understand people and I agree that. That was wise thing to say because who ever you work with or work for, you have understand them and that is done by being curious about them. And for being curious you have to ask right questions. Three main things that I'm going to do when thinking - I'm going to think freely but logical, I should think more and I should share my thoughts more. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm excited for the next week and what we are going to create. Anyway our team continues to have fun while working and that is how we are going to be creative. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And by the way we have new group member Ria Ratia. Sadly she is not in the pictures but hopefully in next week's pictures. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This weeks task was to do a presentation of our own chosen subject and teach it to others. We had a really hectic week if I can say. We started working on Monday after lecture few hours and continued on Tuesday morning. And our subject for the presentation was video marketing. I love videos and doing them so for me the topic was perfect. On Tuesday we started to do an animation for the presentation and we prepared our prezzi also. Thanks to Tanja we get the animation done. She has a real talent when it comes to those kind of things. We also did a script for Wednesday that we could start filming our video right away. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Wednesday morning we started to work on our video and continued with our press. We wanted to show some examples of good advertising videos so we browse all youtube videos and googled advertising videos that we could find the perfect examples. And we did found. My personal favorite is tough provoking always campaign video. It just something that many people doesn't think through and it so honest and truthful. And the Van Damme Volvo advertise video, it is just beautiful. </div>

Our <a href="https://prezi.com/wjvw_dd-g3xf/video-marketing/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy" target="_blank">Prezzi presentation</a> (link) wasn't ready on Wednesday. So we continued on Thursday after others' presentations. We did final shootings and editing. Doing videos is always that takes time and of course we wanted the video be perfect or at least almost. We did finished at 3 or 4pm. I think our presentation is good and I'm proud of it. But still there is so many things of video marketing that would be important as well the things in our presentation. I'm so enthusiastic of videos and video marketing that I think would be something I like to do for work. The branch is so interesting and filming and editing is something where I could use my imagination and creative and try new things. I like all the visuality of videos and what it provokes in people. I think video marketing is most effective form of advertising, because it makes people think. </div>

It was also nice to hear others' presentations on Thursday. All the presentations were nicely done but I still was left to wait something new. I like that one group told growth hacking because that was totally new to me. I absolutely had no idea what it means but I do now. <a href="https://www.quicksprout.com/the-definitive-guide-to-growth-hacking-chapter-1/" target="_blank">Here is a good link</a> what it really means. It is something that have to get more knowledge about. I was little bit disappointment to that some presentations were things I already knew. One team told us about nordic business forum and that we should go to Tikkurila's campus because they have the live stream for the event. But I already have sign up to it maybe one or two weeks ago. Their presentation were still good and they introduced all the speakers and that was really nice. <a href="http://www.nbforum.com/" target="_blank">More information about Nordic Business Forum through this link</a>. </div>

Our team spent many hours at school making this week's video. I also learned bunch of new things about different cultures. Week started on Monday with lecture by our teacher Anna and we also had guest lecturer Lynn-Marie Sederlöf. Anna told us things from cultures and how we should act with people from different cultures and what it means in business life. Overall from Anna's lecture I learned about that I should always pay attention to someones culture and background. When I do business with someones from different part of world I need to respect his/ hers culture and manners.<br />
<br />
Lynn lectured us international marketing and digital marketing from a global perspective. Lynn Sederlöf works for Basware and she also has her own company Lacybox. So she told us what she has done for example for Basware and what her strategy is for Lacybox.<i> (Lacybox sells women's underwear in small box and it's meant to be bought by male customers for their wives or girlfriends.) </i>I think it is always nice to hear someones experiences especially when it comes to entrepreneur's experiences. I was really excited to hear what she had done for digital marketing and what kind of digital marketing is best for both Basware and Lacybox. She told that she has designed Basware's website for example. And I was also really eager to hear that even big company's like Basware use social media for marketing. The company has a blog and twitter account and I was maybe a little bit surprised but in a positive way.<br />
<br />
For the task of this week we had to do a presentation for a culture by our own choice. Our group chose Norway. We were exited about how many different things we founded from culture which is so close to Finland but in a way still different.<br />

This week's video by FTS13<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
Our team spend many hours at school making the video. On Tuesday we started at 11am and finished at 4pm. And on Monday we started at 9am and were ready maybe about 6pm. So what I mean we really did a lot of work for this video. But it was really fun and it's always nice to spend time with this group. We have such good team spirit and we encourage each others to do different things which are out of our comfort zone (for example speaking in English in front of camera). </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
This week I learned a lot more about filming and editing. This week we filmed with my camera and Linda brought the microphone for the camera (On Tuesday we didn't have microphone which effected to the voice). It was a little bit easier to do the video this time since we had a little experience after last time. And I think this week video was better compared to first week but that's our goal, to be better every time. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
On Thursday we showed the video to the class again and I'm clad we did. We also get to watch other group's presentations. It was very learnfull to hear about other cultures and I heard many new thing that I didn't know before, for example Japanese culture you really have to have huge respect to everyone and bow when giving something. One thing that confuses me is that some cultures you really have to have a small talk and there is no split for work/business and free time. Here in Finland and in Scandinavia we separate business and our free time so it's really uncomfortable for example talk about family matters to a business partner.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
All in all the most important thing I learned this week is that you have to adapt to a different culture or at least understand others and respect their culture. </div>

Self branding was already familiar to me from previous courses but I learned new tricks and the video part was totally new to me.<br />
<br />
We got assignment to do a video of ourself and to do a elevator pitch. I am not use to be in front of the camera and I know I need to get to used to it. But one step at a time. From the lecture I learned about self branding in content. I did know that all of my gestures affects to that message that I'll try to send but I didn't know how to use my gestures as a support. So now I know how to use my gestures but it takes me some learning to use them right.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Learning from each others on Monday</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br /></div>
On Monday we gathered wit our group after lecture and did the task to tell each other were where the other one is good at. We did a mind map each of us and wrote the thing that one is really good at.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_s8qgU8Un27b9RBaYdS6RgoQdtV4UShV7z60sg8_0YIOhbbLgTCrsTe2UfvB5h06P_Q0kYRZAlNWmjZeUE0pQQBPYzLKxYdkLXVwIvUTfkmpgkKiOIT6OwdLSLeIXVJmiXs0BrVl-9FI/s1600/DSC_0372.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_s8qgU8Un27b9RBaYdS6RgoQdtV4UShV7z60sg8_0YIOhbbLgTCrsTe2UfvB5h06P_Q0kYRZAlNWmjZeUE0pQQBPYzLKxYdkLXVwIvUTfkmpgkKiOIT6OwdLSLeIXVJmiXs0BrVl-9FI/s640/DSC_0372.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Mind map of myself.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
Good self branding is a huge benefit in the labor market and I am going to improve it with time. And one thing that I learned that self-confidence reflect in self branding. For example if I don't trust myself to be good at something there's no way that somebody else will.<br />
<br />
<br />

<span style="text-align: center;"> <i>My pitch video</i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<span style="text-align: center;">I think my video is quite good but I could have used more </span>gestures to support my message. The next time it will be a lot better, because still this was my first pitch video..</div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
Thursday's lecture was about marketing communications and social media marketing. Some of the things in lecture I did know from previous courses. Partly new things to me were that how I can affect to my rational and emotional appeal. The major thing I learned this week that when marketing I have to affect target's subconscious because people do decisions 95% based on their subconscious. That was new to me and I am definitely going to focus on that more. </div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
But social media marketing. I know how social media marketing works and nowadays social media is a major part of marketing and it is growing all the time. I am interested in social media marketing skills and I am excited of what I can learn of that at this course. </div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
My social media is Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Snapchat, blogger (for this course), LinkedIn and google+. I don't have Pinterest but I have thought that I would do it but let's see.<br />
But I have to say I have a lot to learn from all of these social media sites because I am not a pro at least not yet. </div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: start;">
And BTW we have our own twitter account for our team FTS13, Go and follow us on <a href="https://twitter.com/FTS13laurea" target="_blank">Twitter FTS13</a>. </div>

I was scared mostly about the language, because the whole course would be in english. But the course totally surprise me and I surprise myself. My first day of the course was on Tuesday because I had to work on Monday and I was scared I would fall behind from others. Luckily I didn't and my team told me everything from the first class I needed to know.<br />
<br />

<br />
On Tuesday our team were thinking that lets make a video and we got an idea for the video after a few hours of thinking. Biggest worries were that how would we edit the video and how do we get the holograms to video what we wanted. Thanks to Tanja (from our team) we got the holograms to work for the video. We started to film the video a little bit on Tuesday and continued at Wednesday. After many takes we got the material and then we started to do the editing part. First we had problems that what program we would do the editing or who's computer we would use. We needed to switch our meeting room couple times and end up doing it with my computer since I had iMovie (Apple's own editing program). We did the editing for many hours and left from school about six o'clock in the evening. But I had to say the time didn't bother me because doing school project had never been that much fun and I had a really good feeling about the video.<br />
